Advantages
It helps enhance students' reading, writing, and speaking abilities.
Students reap the benefits of a HUMSS strand by developing skills like communication, open-mindedness, and a good understanding of the sociological and cultural nuances of the world around them. -
Taking a HUMSS strand is that, this strand can build and boost your self-confidence/self-esteem. Some students or teenagers are being introvert because they don’t communicate much on other teenagers.
And since the main description of HUMSS is public service and communicating to a lot of people, this strand can boost and build their self confidence through the activities that HUMSS offer.
Disadvantages
Students in it are weak at math and numbers simply because they have fewer quantitative subjects. This strand are told to be the worst strand and it has the title of “HUMSS ka lang.”
They think that everything that the students do under this strand is the easiest. Also, just because the subjects are less numbers, it has been criticize of being an idiot in math.
