We truly invite you to explore the meaning and inspiration behind our logo, and how it represents our commitment to connection, trust, and learning.

• Our Logo is shaped like a shield, which aims to represent the strength of HUMSS students. Also to give homage to the HUMSS PETITIVE club of San Mateo Senior High School's logo.

  
  

• The green shades are supposed to embody the HUMSS colors of San Mateo Senior High School, which we wanted to incorporate as we love our school dearly.

  
  

• "HUMSS" translated in baybayin represents how important our strand is when it comes to history, tradition, and culture in the Philippines.
  

• Laurel leaves are historically associated with ancient Greek and Roman cultures, where they were awarded to victors in athletic competitions, military leaders, and scholars.
  

• The scale, most famously associated with Lady Justice, represents the concept of justice and fairness. It symbolizes balance, impartiality, and the weighing of evidence to make fair decisions.
  

• The ink and quill is a symbol of writing, creativity, and knowledge. Historically, the quill was a tool for authors, scholars, and philosophers, so it’s often linked to intellectual pursuits, literary arts, and communication.
  

• The torch is a symbol of light, knowledge, and enlightenment.
  

• And lastly, the brain represents intelligence, logic, and mental prowess. It’s a direct symbol of cognitive ability, thought, and innovation.
